In the first quarter of 2025, the top navigation and maps applications in Finland on a unified platform showed varied performance metrics, as revealed by Sensor Tower data.

Google Maps maintained a consistent presence with weekly downloads ranging from approximately 2.1K to 2.8K throughout the quarter. The app saw a slight fluctuation in weekly active users, peaking at around 2.37M in the week of January 20.

Google Earth experienced varied weekly downloads, starting with 1.9K and peaking at 2.1K in early January. Active users fluctuated between 14.9K and 22.7K, with a notable increase towards the end of March.

Karttaselain - Maastokartta from AccelBit saw weekly revenue increase gradually, reaching $5.6K by the end of March. Downloads remained steady, fluctuating between 1.5K and 2K, while active users peaked at 18.6K mid-March.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic maintained a steady download rate, with a peak of 1.5K in mid-March. Active users showed a rise, starting from 13.3K and reaching up to 20K in March.

Fintraffic Mobiili had a notable spike in downloads in early February, reaching 2.4K. The app's downloads then stabilized around 700 to 1.1K in the subsequent weeks.
